  • We know life happens, and that’s okay. We do hold a high standard of accountability for our employers in order to keep workers, well, working. So if you have to cancel more than two shifts within a month, we will suspend your account for 5 business days. If you need to cancel a shift, you can do so within 30 minutes of arrival in order for the system to allow the worker to accept another opportunity promptly.

  • All of the workers on our platform go through a rigorous qualification process, and furthermore are only matched with your request based on advanced machine learning capabilities allowing the algorithm to only find you workers that can get the job done, and done right.

  • No, Shift does not charge a subscription fee for employers to use. We instead charge a small fee taken from the hourly wage you have provided in your work request. This process will be transparently shared with workers. We believe in bringing top talent to your sites, and in order to do so we have created a revenue model that does not hinder you from getting the workers you need, when you need them. Our rates are up to 75% less costly than standard temporary work agencies.

  • If workload requirements change while a worker is on site, and you no longer need the worker, you can login to the app and cancel the shift. We ask you to politely approach the worker and discuss the needs that have changed. Keep in mind, the worker will be paid for the time remaining on the shift request that you originally accepted. We do this to ensure that workers are not left to receive less income than anticipated when they accept a shift.

  • If you encounter any issues while a worker is on-site, you can simply log onto Shift and receive 24/7 support through the “Report An Issue” action.
